All students who access SEND provision are provided with the same opportunities as their peers to achieve their full potential and to prepare successfully for their future pathways. We are committed to ensuring that appropriate support, guidance and provision are in place to enable every student to thrive both academically and personally.
At Key Stage 4, students accessing SEND provision receive dedicated careers support through an external specialist agency. This includes attendance at SEND review meetings, where advisers meet with students and their parents or carers to provide personalised advice, guidance and transition planning to support informed decision-making about post-16 options.
All students who have accessed SEND provision have successfully progressed to post-16 education, with many continuing on to further and higher education at a range of appropriate and well-regarded institutions.
