Students and staff are celebrating today after receiving a record breaking set of GCSE results.
Rossington All Saints Academy now has 71% of students gaining a grade 4 in Maths and English and 52% achieving a grade 5 strong pass or above in both subjects.
Both English and Maths achieved over 56% of grades at a strong pass or above and 21% of grades at 7+ in English and Maths.
Mr Burton said ‘I am absolutely delighted with these results which reflect the hard work put in by both students and staff.
They are an indication of the strong teaching and individual support we provide for our students.
The results are excellent across all subjects and reflect the sustained high performance of Rossington All Saints Academy.
Congratulations and well done to all our Year 11 students. Their success is very well deserved.’
Paul Tarn, Chief Executive of Delta Academies Trust said:
” Students at Rossington All Saints Academy have achieved an incredible level of success, thanks to their hard work, and that of Mr Burton and the academy’s dedicated teachers and staff. I would like to thank parents and carers and the Academy Advisory Body for their support.
I was delighted that this year the school was oversubscribed and the Trust took the difficult decision to increase pupil numbers in Year 7. This will ensure that more children can benefit from attending this outstanding institution. “
