Rossington All Saints was designated as a Specialist Sports College in September 2002 and was recently re-designated in September 2007 (with extended target setting for creative and performing arts subjects).  As a Specialist Sports College the school is committed to opportunity and excellence  for all - in our school, partner schools and within the wider community.

The specialism is a very strong feature of the schools work that has been recognised as ‘good' with many ‘outstanding' features.  Most significantly the specialism has been evidenced, to be a contributing factor, in the development of the school in recent years alongside its other specialisms, and has been graded as ‘outstanding' in this respect.

Linked to the schools specialist role it acts as a host site for the ‘Flying High School Sports Partnership' currently one of the top ten performing partnerships within the country.

To be associated with the school as a Sports College at this time, is a really exciting opportunity in that the final preparations are underway for completion of the £2.2 million 'Community Sports Village' development as part of the whole school rebuild programme.  Over the coming weeks various initiatives will embarque upon engaging students, staff, parents and the wider community in the planning of programmes and activities for the new facilities.  In the meantime you can access images of the development of the new facilities via the news link on the right hand side of this page or via the news link on the homepage.
