Options

We offer several routes of study to match the individual requirements of students which include:
One year courses
Two year courses
Three year courses
A Levels
Vocational Qualifications (Work Related)
Vocational Qualifications (Work Based)

 

As you will see below there are a large number of courses available at Rossington, however these can only be run provided there are sufficient numbers of students taking up these options. We will consider any other courses provided they are viable.

Level 1/2 Vocational NVQ (Work based)

• Assessed in the work place and including Key Skills
• 1 or more GCSE
• Member of RAS Sixth form
• Full time at Training Provider
• Work placement
• Progress to Level 2/Modern Apprenticeship/Work

Level 2 Vocational BTEC (School)

• Assessed in school
• 5 GCSE
• Select 2 subject areas
• Progress onto Level 3 or Work

Level 3 AS/A Level or BTEC (School)

• Assessed in school
• 5 A* to C Grades including En & Ma
• Select 3 subjects from 4 option blocks
• Progress to college/university/work
