Pie and Pea Night
8th January 2018If you are the parent/carer of a Y11 student please join us on Tuesday 23rd January for our Pie and Pea Evening. The evening is an opportunity for you to find out more about the support that is available for all Y11's in the lead up to their summer exams.

Christmas Arrangements
14th December 2017We will be maintaining our normal curriculum arrangements up to Wednesday 20th December, on Thursday 21st December students will attend church services at St Luke's church in Rossington during lessons 1 and 2. They will then return to their usual lessons for the remainder of the day.
Friday 22nd December is Christmas jumper day where students can wear a Christmas jumper with their usual academy trousers or skirt and make a £1.00 contribution in support of Save the Children. The senior leadership team wil

Prison Me No Way
13th December 2017Y11's were involved in the Prison Me No Way step up day to day and took part in some interesting and thought provoking sessions delivered by the PMNW team. They also had the opportunity to see what an actual prison cell was like!

Medicine- Not Just About Medics
13th December 2017Students at the academy had the opportunity to visit the University of Leeds as part of a STEM day 'Medicine- not just about Medics'. They had the opportunity to explore how teams of scientists, engineers and mathematicians work alongside medical doctors, helping them understand the spread of disease, discover better treatments and cures and develop technology to aid more accurate diagnosis.

RASA Advent Giveaway
6th December 2017Each lunchtime in December we will be selecting 3 students at random to win a fabulous Christmas prize in our Rossington Advent Giveaway. Students just need to be in school on the day on the day their name is drawn to win a prize.

LabLive STEM Event
24th November 2017Students at the academy have enjoyed a visit to The Gainsborough Old Hall today for a LabLive STEM event provided by EDF Energy.
During the day they have attended a live show called 'Shapes and Smoke Rings' where mega mathematician Katie Steckles showed objects being deformed and twisted beyond what anyone would have thought possible. The show informed students how shapes connect together in space, what their interesting properties are and how they can be used to solve real world problems.

Blue Whale App
6th October 2017You may be aware of an app called the Blue Whale Game which has been featured in the news recently in connection with young people being challenged to carry out sinister daily challenges, the ultimate one being to commit suicide. No deaths in Britain have been linked to the game, but police officers have posted online warnings for parents.
We would advise parents to check your child's electronic equipment for any such content, delete it, and discuss the implications and risks of such apps with your child.

OFSTED Report
15th September 2017Rossington All Saints Academy was inspected under the new OFSTED framework in July and we are delighted to announce that the academy continues to be judged as a good school.
OFSTED acknowledged the academy's ethos of high expectations for all students and this was also reflected in this year's GCSE results.
The outcome is testament to the hard work and dedication of our talented staff, students and governors alongside the support of parents.
