Parents Area

We are keen to ensure that all parents are fully informed about the day to day life of the school.  In the design of the website we have looked to ensure that the line of communication between home and school is as effective as it could possibly be, to this end we would like to direct parents to key aspects of the site that should prove extremely useful:

• Adobe Link - In order to view many of the documents on our site we have provided a free download link to the Adobe software that is required (please click on the link at the bottom of the page).
• Document Downloads - Here you will find a range of documents of interest to inform you and help you support your child's learning at school.
• Letters Page - All letters that we as a school send home for your attention can be viewed from the letters section of this page.
• Curriculum & Extended Learning - As a parent it is important that you have upto date information of what your child is studying in school, and the work that they have been set as Extended Learning (Homework).  This section allows you to view your childs curriculum by year group and then by subject.  A guide to Extended Learning is included and parents should constantly review the student planner and use it as a vehicle for further communication to and from school.  Curriculum & Extended Learning details for all year groups will be fully available in January 2008.

Obviously there are many other aspects of the site that are appropriate for parents (News, Events & About in particular) but we have tried to ensure that key items are easily found within this section.
