RASA Celebrates!!

20th August 2015

Following on from the really positive A Level results received last week, students and staff were also celebrating GCSE results at the academy where record progress was achieved with  60% of students gaining 5 A* - C including English and Maths, demonstrating our continued trend of improvement.

 Principal Jamie Lawler said:

‘Last week represented a high point for the academy with excellent A Level results and the fact that all of our students who applied to university gained their places, but this week has been something else.

Our GCSE students have performed exceptionally with record progress achieved in the core subjects and  a pass rate of 60% at the 5A*-C  including English and Maths threshold, leading to what has obviously been a huge celebration with lots of happy faces.

On the back of our recent examination results, and a very positive OFSTED report from May 2013, I am extremely proud to be associated with the academy and of all the fantastic work that is taking place.  These results reflect the tremendous effort applied by our students in their studies alongside the support of our dedicated team of staff, and it gives me great pleasure to be able to share in this success with all concerned. ’
