Move on Move Up Project

15th April 2016

As your son/ daughter is currently in Year 11 and preparing to take their GCSE examinations, we would like to make you aware of a series of free rewards based study sessions being held at leisure centres across Doncaster throughout April and May.

The sessions are part of an exciting and brand new initiative aimed at the young people of Doncaster and is supported by the Mayor Ros Jones. The ‘Mayor’s Move On Up Project’ is designed to support all secondary schools in helping young people raise their attainment levels and aspirations at a time when they are preparing for all-important and life changing examinations.

For each student attending a 2 hour session a free one-time leisure pass will be given. Parents are encouraged to attend sessions with your child, so you can understand the value and lend more support once back at home. If you do come along then you will receive a family pass to allow access to all family members to attend the sessions and enjoy some fun time together and a welcome break from revision.
