All Saints in Guiness Book of Records

On 23rd April 35 staff and students took part in The World's Biggest Lesson. This event, driven by the Global Campaign for Education, was designed to highlight the plight of 72 million young people worldwide whose choices, opportunities and ultimately their health, happiness and well being are severely restricted because they have no access to formal education.
The idea was that uoung people and their teachers should attend at the same time a lesson designed to explore this issue.
Latest information suggests 7.5m took part across the globe including our small but dedicated band - this is expected to be officially recognised as a world record - and hopefully will prompt action on this issue. Our group will be following up within school - especially given our links with Ghana where only 40% of young people can afford to stay on at school after Year 9...
