Rossington All Saints New Build - Updated on 3rd May 2008

We have finally managed to publish some new pictures of progress of our New School Build. As you can see excellent progress is being made and we are still on course to move in this coming September.

Students from years 9 to 11 have had at least one tour around site and year 8 will start their site tours at the beginning of May. Follow the link above to see more New Build photos and video.

Here are some interesting facts about our new build:

1. To dig out the foundations we had to remove 26.330 cu m of top soil
2. Over 750 tonnes of steel bar has been used to reinforce the concrete frame
3. 3.550m3 of concrete has been used so far, which equals 8.880 tonnes
4. We will use 9.420sq.m of glazing in the finished building
