Teresa House continue to develop the Sensory Garden
The Sensory Garden at the old Holmscarr Junior School has started to be transformed by some of the hard work of Teresa House students. Already there has been a significant improvement in the environement of the area, with plants and vegetables blossoming. The students have grown, potatoes, onions, courgettes, lettuce, sweetcorn, herbs, a variety of flowers and there are even some pumpikins planted in preparation for Halloween!
The pupils have gained many skills from being involved in this project and there are big plans ahead for construction of the garden over the winter months, including developing the pond area and creating some raised flower beds for wheelchair access.
