This Half Term - Round Up!!

Last half term we did it- we won the house cup for the first time in 22 half terms!!!  We said we were going to be better, and strive to remain at the top.  Did we do it?........

This half term has seen our referrals drop and our cheques go up, but what it has not seen is an improvement in the house attendance - so we have been pipped at the post and came a valient second place - very closely followed by Teresa!!

The winners of the form attendance were Ssy (now Jem) with a fantastic 94.21%

The winners of the highest cheques were Ssy (now Jem) with 291 - closely followed by Knc with 277.

The winners of the lowest referrals were Ssy (now Jem) with 5 - never have I seen such a low number in all my time of being Head of House at Rossington All Saints

The winners of the highest points were Ssy (now Jem) with 456, followed by Knc with 398

A massive congratulations to Ssy - never have we had a clean sweep of the board before, and it is testament to the positive ethos and attitude within the form.

I will repeat what I said this morning during assembly - it came down to attendance today.  Are you one of the students who isn't in over 92% of the time?  Are you in 100% of the time?  Is your punctuality needing improving?  - remember 100% = 10pts for the house; 100% with no lates = an additional 5pts for the house; 92% + attendance = 5pts for the house!!!

For next half term I have set us as a house a number of targets:

1.  Attendance to improve - collectively lets pull together and encourage each other

2.  Less referrals - set yourself a target and reduce the number you received this half term

3.  Punctuality - make an effort to get to school and lessons on time

4.  Lets do it together - as a form, a house and a team - remember there is no 'I' in 'Team'

Come on Luther King , I know we can do it because we have done it before.... remember "Striving for success without hard work, is like trying to harvest where you haven't planted" (David Bly)
