Irwin House establishes link with Riding For the Disabled

Irwin House year 9 students have been volunteering their time and help at Riding For the Disabled. This organisation, based at the Northern Racing College, provides physically disadvantaged people with the opportunity to experience horse riding in a safe and supportive environment. It relies upon the charitable donations of the public and the work of volunteers in order to operate.
Irwin year 9s have already contributed massively to the work that goes on at the racing college and the link will be further developed in the new school year to extend to other year groups.
Thank you to Zoey Sykes, Casey Rylance, Robyn Hickling, Victoria Higgins and Josh Bailey for your time, effort and commitment towards helping others!
