Collective Worship at Rossington All Saints

Collective worship at The Rossington All Saints School means providing students with  further opportunities to explore faith issues, develop a sense of belonging and allow for personal, social, moral and spiritual development. It is an occasion for exploring and affirming those matters of human worth which are at the heart of shared humanity.

We have developed a form of collective worship at the school which

  • Promotes an active sense of community , belonging and unity
  • Develops a sense of shared values and interdependence
  • Celebrates success and achievement of individuals, groups and the community
  • Provides an opportunity to explore, question and reflect on key issues
  • Provides opportunities to experience the spiritual dimension of life
  • Promotes active responses to key issues
  • Provides an opportunity to worship, to acknowledge that someone or something else is greater and worth more...

Our school assemblies are the best this Headteacher has seen in 25+ years of teaching. Increasingly, students enjoy their assemblies and engage in very positive preapration and follow up work in Form Learning Time.

Some examples of our work are attached below.
